Comfort food , there is nothing like it. Its always there when you need it, it always gonna hit the spot and its always gonna nourish the soul. Today was a wonderful day, nothing extravagant or out of the ordinary, in fact, it was quite ordinary. A simple day of shopping and laughing with my Aunt Debbie - there is nothing that brings more joy than laughing with Aunt Debbie!
After a long day of shopping we thought we would top it off with some.....comfort food. We made homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and topped it off with apple pie! Amazing simplicity at its best. We ate our wonderful spread while watching the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" - great movie!
All in all it was a wonderful, ordinary, simple day with lots of laughs, food and all around good times...
